Who We Are – RATA
RATA is a leading HVAC industry association India dedicated to supporting businesses and professionals through collaboration, advocacy, and knowledge sharing, while driving growth and innovation across the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
The Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Trades Association Ltd. (RATA) is one of the oldest associations working for the development of MSME in the field Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration industry in India. Established in the year 1949, the association brings together people from the entire industry and gives them a central forum to help them accomplish their common goal of making progress and achieving success.

Greetings! It is an honor to serve as the President of RATA, an organization that has been representing MSMEs in India's HVAC&R industry for over 75 years.
At RATA, our mission is to empower MSMEs, foster solidarity, and create a collaborative ecosystem where businesses can thrive in an evolving market landscape.
India's cooling demand is set to grow 8 times from FY 2017-18 to 2037-38, with the building sector expanding 11 times. RAC manufacturing capacity will rise from 40 lakh units in 2019 to 400 lakh units by 2029.
